Boerne Retailer’s Style Show & Shopping Event: Fashion & Fun For A Cause

If you've ever needed a great reason to shop local and support our downtown Boerne retailers, this is it! The Boerne Retailer’s Style Show & Shopping Event is slated for next Saturday, September 18th, from 6-9pm at Don Strange Ranch. This exciting event not only supports our fabulous local retailers, but a portion of proceeds benefit the Kendall County Women's Shelter, too—double win!
The shelter, which opened its doors in 2012, provides emergency shelter in a supportive environment where Texas Hill Country victims of domestic violence and their children can begin the healing process and receive the support services they need to build new lives.
With the very first Boerne Retailer’s Style Show and Shopping Event in 2019, over $8,000 was raised for the women’s shelter—and even though the show was canceled in 2020, that number was nearly doubled through ticket sales and virtual shopping! The Boerne Retailers Association has a passion for supporting the local community through fun and unique events, and this event is just one prime example of the BIG heart of the Association and our Boerne community.
Eighteen Boerne businesses are participating in the Style Show this year, which means we can expect to find all the top trends in clothing, gifts, art, and much more. Participants include:
Celeste, The Flower Shop, Gallery 195, Gina Marie’s Art Studio, Handmade on Main, J.Forks Designs, Joli Boutique, La Te Da, Mainly Vintage, The Pearl Antler, Pixie, Fabulous Finds, Southern Voice, Traditions at The Depot, Wheeler’s Western Outfitters, Dog & Pony Grill, Salty & Sweet, and Tootie Pie.
And did we mention that these folks are not only taking part in the fashion show, but are hosting pop-up shops at the event as well? So, grab your friends, get dressed up (if you like to), and shop for a great cause: You’ll likely go to visit your favorite businesses and end up meeting a few new ones as well!
