Renée Taylor served twenty-six years as a military spouse, and upon her husband’s retirement, decided it was time to chase her own dream of becoming an interior designer.

Now, as an ASID allied interior designer with fourteen years’ experience, she not only offers custom design service packages—which include paint, fabric, and furniture selection to whole room design—but also specializes in creating custom paint and plaster decorative finishes on walls, ceilings, furniture, and other architectural features. And somehow, in addition to all that (and preparing for her NCIDQ certification), she travels to market several times a year (including those in Europe!) to bring hand-picked selections to her Boerne showroom and retail space inside Corner Cartel.

“This shop is my haven; the place where I can exercise my creativity and follow my design passions,” she explains. “I offer my clients the chance to travel the world through my curated designs, visualize stunning antiques in their homes, and enter a space of peace, beauty, and tranquility.”

And with unique lighting, new home decor, antiques, and furniture, Renée Taylor Interiors does just that.

And those antique and custom European treasures she loves? Think: reclaimed 17th century limestone flooring, antique limestone fireplace mantels, new hand-carved limestone mantels, antique limestone wall fountains, pool fountains, range hoods, antique trough sinks, and antique stone wall plaques…either curated from European vintage and antique markets or custom designed and handmade in the south of France.
